BIO
Will Rogan lives in Albany, CA. He is a recent recipient of a Rockefeller Media Arts Fellowship.. His recent work takes specific historical narratives as starting points to digress from, for example the story of a woman who was hit by a meteorite in 1954, or a magician who quit magic to try to open a transcendental meditation theme park. His work has been exhibited at the MORI Art Museum in Tokyo, Japan, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, DUMBO Art Center in Brooklyn, the Palm Beach Institute of Contemporary Art in Florida, Gasworks Gallery in London. He is represented by Jack Hanley Gallery in San Francisco.
